About Karen Child Ogden MA, LMFT
Karen Child Ogden is a licensed marriage and family therapist and the co-creator and contributor to The Temptation of a Generation children’s book series addressing issues of technology and children. Karen has a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Utah and a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from the University of San Diego. She is a frequent speaker on issues of technology and children.
Karen has written for and contributed to local and national publications such as USA Weekend and Eliza Magazine, and her work has been featured on major TV and such radio programs as the Dr. Laura show. Karen has worked with individuals, families and couples on a variety of issues and has led groups on topics such as addiction, domestic violence, parenting, self-esteem and body image. She served as a co-executive director for LifeSTAR Los Angeles and as an employee of LifeSTAR Orange County. She has served on the Young Alumni Board of the University of Utah and on the board of directors for he Children’s Center in Salt Lake City.
